The Crab Nebula is an incredible 11 light years across.(96360 light hours) the distance from the sun to pluto is about 5 light hours.
Our universe is really an endless supply of such beautiful artwork

@crossproduct: not really a problem just a different application. probably for seeing the heat/temperatures

@Axeroberts: yes, they're looking for heat given off by relatively cool things like planets and it can see through dust clouds better. They decided to sacrifice green and blue for the sake of better infrared coverage.

@crossproduct: The Hubble telescope downloads its images in greyscale pixels. But it does use filters to sort out the spectrum which can be combined as a composite.
