I Love Astronomy

I watched the ISS (international space station) fly over tonight. That thing is getting BRIGHT! No doubt from growing larger all the time and of course the sun angle at the time I viewed it. But dang!

I'm going to look for it again tonight. It's supposed to pass over twice.

Hope it was clear so you could see it . It was very cloudy here @Earthwrap

@Repete It passed over twice here. The first time it was 100% cloudy. The second time just now it was clear and the space station was very dim. Could hardly see it. I think it must be the brightest just after the sun sets and it gets dark. Then you have the sun shining right on it before the earth passes between the sun and ISS.

@Earthwrap yes I think you are right . It actually passes over about every 90 minutes but because of where the sun is and the earth and every thing we can only see it sometimes.
