I Still Have Hope
I am not posting this for a debate ,take it as my opinion ,or the Word of God
I leave that up to you
Its a little lengthy ,so if you don't like to read ,you may just want to pass it on by ,because you can't explain such things in 1 or 2 lines

This is my post and I have that privilege on my posts

I am merely trying to explain a few things prior to the very last religious post that I will post here that is coming
That is not saying I won't still make comments about faith and my beliefs
just not a post that is an attempt to lay the ground work for the one that is coming when I feel lead to post it

There is a lot of confusion as to what Christ did on the cross
and maybe this can help ,maybe not ,but I am going to give it a shot
Romans 5:12 King James Version (KJV)
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
Because of Adam all men and women were born already sinners
every man ,woman and child ,but God made a covenant with Israel
If they would obey His laws and statutes ,,once a year a priest could take the blood of their sacrifice into the most holy place and make sacrifice for the nation
That cleared the sins they had committed for that year ,
when that was over they started over again ,and this was only for Israel
The Gentiles had no such means ,,they were not even allowed to mingle with Jews and vice versa
without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin
so each man made sacrifice of an animal for his family and next year he repeated it
When Christ went on the cross ,He took all the sins ever committed upon Himself
even for the Gentiles ,,but it was only for that point in time ,,He cleaned the slate of the sin of Adam ,,
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; [b]even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.[/b]
He wiped the slate clean for all
But now does that mean we can just sin and from now until Christ comes and that nothing is counted as sin ?
The sins of Hitler ,they were not sins because he is under Grace too is he not ?
That is foolish
So if we sin now ,what do we do ? I will first show you how we know what sin is
He has given us a standard to live by ,10 laws of Love
the first 4 show our love for God
The Ten Commandments
1) You shall have no other Gods but me.
2) You shall not make for yourself any idol, nor bow down to it or worship it.
3) You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.
4) You shall remember and keep the Sabbath day holy.
where in the Bible has God said anywhere to change any of these ?
If He were going to change any of them since He gave us instructions on everything else ,would He not have left one text says "alter my commandments "?
There is none and if you can find One ,,I know someone that will pay you $1000.00
and Col 2 is not the text ,that one is easy to show anyone saying that says the laws are altered is misused ,that is speaking of the law of Moses
Compare Col 2 with Deut 31:24 and you will see Col 2 is the fulfillment of Deut 31
5) Respect your father and mother.
6) You must not commit murder.
7) You must not commit adultery.
8)You must not steal.
9)You must not give false evidence against your neighbour.
10) You must not be envious of your neighbour's goods. You shall not be envious of his house nor his wife, nor anything that belongs to your neighbour.
Just as the first 4 are out love for God ,these other 6 are our love for our parents and our fellowman ,,not one of them has been altered either
if 1 is abolished ,then they all are
and we can now kill and steal ,lie ,covet ,commit adultery and its not sin
but is that what the Word of God teach's ?
1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: [b]for sin is the transgression of the law.[/b]
The Bible definition of sin ,,to break Gods laws
SO is we sin ,is it ok because Christ gave you a free pass on the cross ?
He says the way we know that we know Him is we submit to His laws
1 John 2:3 And [b]hereby we do know that we know him, if[/b] we keep his commandments.
this says you believeth in Him and you know Him
But what if you say you know Him but you willfully break them ?

26 For [b]if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth[/b], there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
A babe in Christ once they repent they are not expected to know what to do
so for a time God allows for that ,but once we know what is required and we sin
we repent ,,or else the blood of Christ is no longer covering you ,,
Why ?
4 [b]He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.[/b]
Because you are lying to yourself to say I know Him and willfully break His laws
Now you say ,,,"No man can keep the law ,its impossible

So what do we do if we sin ?

But to do this ,,you must die to self ,and be reborn in Christ

Because God is a spirit ,His word is spiritual ,and Unless you are born again in the spirit ,you will NEVER understand it ,,he said that not me
