I Still Have Hope
If we don't alter the path of our nation ,our world
We are selfish and didn't deserve the air we had the privilege to breath ,
There are other generations to come ,what will we leave them ?
Debt and air and water not fit for humans should not be our legacy
We are killing animals off at an alarming rate ,not by tracking and killing them
but with the condition of our planet ,,and some can say its all BS and cycles
All that trash and pollution didn't get in our air ,oceans and rivers in a cycle
"We all put it there "
But we can begin with our loved ones ,how we treat them
our neighbors and so called friends
You had a hard life and no one understands ,,thats the BS
most of us had hard lives ,,
The things many take for granted today didn't get there by themselves
my generation and my Dads generation built most of it
Great Grandpa used a horse and buggy ,dirt roads id there were roads at all
indoor plumbing or power ,,not even a fan or a screen on the window
It seems like it was so long ago ,but it wasn't .
In my life time I have seen the rise and fall of a nation ,,and we are not evolving so save that BS for someone who hasn't seen us peak and go the other way .
Scientists estimate that 150-200 species of plant, insect, bird and mammal become extinct every 24 hours. This is nearly 1,000 times the “natural” or “background” rate and, say many biologists, is greater than anything the world has experienced since the vanishing of the dinosaurs nearly 65m years ago

Anyway that wasn't my intent to preach ,I wanted to share a song
But I have Grandkids that are toddlers ,,it was my Grandsons 2nd birthday yesterday
I couldn't help but think about the world he is going to grow up in
will things turn around before its to late ,,or could they be the last generation
I know so many think Mars is the answer ,,when we can't fix a planet we already know has water and air ,,we live on it
Wildlife is a marker ,,it says at present rate ,,we won't be able to much longer
When our plants and animals are gone ,we will be too ,
maybe not tomorrow ,,but what are we leaving to future generations ?
We raped the land ,polluted the air ,,and we can't even get along
It took working together and cooperation ,a thirst for a better life that built our nation ,,not tech ,,
Blood ,sweat and tears ,and a lot of lost lives ,,it wasn't cheep or easy
Anyway ,the song I wanted to share ,,
"Bleed red "/Ronnie Dunn Aka "we all bleed red "
