@SatanBurger I have very mixed emotions when it comes to rap.
Good wordsmiths abound and coupled with enticing beats it's a potent force.
But we've seen an increasing commodification and the inevitable dumbing down of message in mainstream product.I would not have guessed it to become such a huge industry.Money talks.
I hated NWA when they stormed the scene-but came to adore them after a while.
But stuff like last poets,public enemy and KRS-1 changed my world.
I listen to plenty of lame party-starters too,whaddoo I even know,really.
