I Am Blessed In So Many Ways
Just got back from town, got everything put up. Lordy be … it's a chore for me to go running and the icing on the cake is putting everything away.
But.... I thank God for all I have. 😌
We have been working hard gathering wood for the winter. The wood shed is full, the porch is as well. There is stacks of cut logs waiting to be gathered. If cutting wood, and gathering..stacking.. doesn't get you into shape.. nothing will! Mostly walking thru the woods, on mountainsides!! 🤪
But.... by-George ..we will be warm this winter!
Dogs have houses built out of bales of straw, covered with tarps on the porch. Rug and blankets line the floor .. they are tucked away, nice and warm. Cat house is winterized, plastic up and heater set-up.
But.... no worries about our fur babies!
I got the garden done!!! Potash, lime and manure spread with heavy clear plastic covering it. I broke my back shoveling all that shit!😩
But.... I am going to have one fine garden next year!
My she cave/craft room/computer room/ smoke room is awesome. New pegboards.. full walls.. so I can have all the space I need to make my wreaths and keep them safe and hanging. Now I begin my winter's pleasure... as I wait for Spring.
But.... this time allows me time to create and get ready for the markets.
My husband's heart valve replacement surgery is Dec. 5th. He is able to get it done thru the groin instead of cracking his chest. What a blessings!!
His buddy is coming in to stay and watch over our home and fur kids while we are gone. And will stay as long as needed! I am very anxious , as well as my loving man!
But.... he is strong and healthy. This will improve his health!
