I Was In a Car Accident

So a few days ago, I was in a long line waiting to get out of the parking lot of the grocery store when a car hit the back of my hubbys car I was driving. And you know what he does he whoosh around me and sideswiped hubbys car so now he has hit me twice. He cuts through the grass and leaves just to come back and offer me $500 to not call the cops. 🤦‍♀️

If I hadn't had 2 babies with me I wouldn't have been so upset and $500 would have bought a ton of school supplies which is way tempting as I love school supplies 😍

What would you have done in my situation?

Poor fool had suspended license, no insurance and an active warrant. 🤦‍♀️

All damage to any automobile exceeds 500. And most policies have more than a 500 dollar deductible with the expensive cars we drive today. So,money won't cover the damages completely. with him not caring an insurance himself is considered "no proof of financial resposibility". The active warrant could be for just about anything or simply "failure to appear". And possibly there was no 500 dollars to begin with to pay you. Not good chances in you favor, that i would think. And most what if he went on and actually hurt someone doing the same thing to some one else,Is that guilt you would want to carry know he would have been behind bars for his prior offenses. and yes, we still don't know what his warrant was for. Yes, he is a fool

@hami1091 it a shame you have to wait for a rental. If he had had insurance, you might have one by now. Check in to you policy about just to see if it wouldn't be much more be cover in the future. Worth checking out.
