I Love Feathers

The importance of eagle feathers is something that's universal in my culture. Being awarded an eagle feather is considered the highest honor that only the bravest and most respectable individuals can achieve. Nowadays, they're more about celebrating life, overcoming hardships and honoring traditions. This is especially important since celebrating our traditions was once something that was forbidden for many years. That we had to fight for the right to adorn our eagle feathers has only made them all the more sacred in Native American culture.
