Or not?
Why
I m in a super relationship now as of 7 years. I feel anti-marriage after horrible marriage /divorce. I feel that simply you keep yours, I keep mine. Meanwhile we share, is best. Buuuuut lately thinking of marriage but I think my anti marriage plan is best. We are a blossoming couple going on 7 years. I’m thinking I just need to explain my thought about relationships with my daughter, but I don’t want to ruin her romantic perceptions of marriage

Not unless for instance i had a home on a huge family farm for instance that belonged to the family.
In that case the family may want me to sign one so if there's a divorce my partner doesn't get a proportion of the entire farm forcing a sale or mortgage to pay her out etc. I had friends growing up who had to do this so that's why i thought of it.

@SW-User yes, well I most certainly would sign a prenup like that.

@Mindful The boys had to, their father put it in the terms of the estate apparently
depends on what it says. and especially for someone who has grown kids, one might want to ensure they are not forgotten in a will.
Of course. I want to make sure I have a nice going away present when the marriage dissolves lol
maybe but I wanna be sharing properties with my spouse lol
Then: I used to feel they were not something I would ever consider.

Now: Everything I have is either paid off or close to it and if I ever found myself single and in a marrying position again, I am afraid I would be firmly in the "pre-nup" camp.

@Threepio lol yes!!!! If you earned Valuable assets that were earned with hard work and it took a long time to acquire them, it matters more than if all you did was inherit them. If you have no assets, there’s nothing to fight over.

I would insist upon it.
If for whatever reason my current marriage of over 20 years should end. I would not bother with marriage again, no prenup, in fact I would not bother with a long term relationship again either.

I hope your 20 year marriage will never end! @StormInaTeacup
