I Got The Cane In School 6 Of The Best

I didnt get six of the best but, I did get two strokes of the cane in front of the whole school assembly. I was 15 at the time and I was absolutely mortified especially as parents were allowed to sit at the back during assemblies. I'm only thankful mine were not present. I can just imagine their shame if they would have wittnesed me being called to the stage to be caned.

Thank you for your fascinating and concise account, which raises so many questions. I did have friends at other schools with assembly canings or strappings, but I believe it was super rare. What year would this have been, roughly (not wanting a lady to divulge her age more precisely than this site does)?
