I Got The Cane In School 6 Of The Best

I didnt get six of the best but, I did get two strokes of the cane in front of the whole school assembly. I was 15 at the time and I was absolutely mortified especially as parents were allowed to sit at the back during assemblies. I'm only thankful mine were not present. I can just imagine their shame if they would have wittnesed me being called to the stage to be caned.

I can count myself lucky really I only got wacked in the privacy of the heads office or in our own classroom

@Normanwestie I suppose it was up to the Head to decide on how and where it was administered.

This was in high school. the most painful punishment we got was the English master. His trick was to hit you with the edge of a steel 12" rule

@Lacylyn At my school canings were in the head's. or deputy head's. office but slipperings were administered anywhere.
