I Got The Cane In School 6 Of The Best

I didnt get six of the best but, I did get two strokes of the cane in front of the whole school assembly. I was 15 at the time and I was absolutely mortified especially as parents were allowed to sit at the back during assemblies. I'm only thankful mine were not present. I can just imagine their shame if they would have wittnesed me being called to the stage to be caned.

Why were parents at assembly surely it was before school

@angie8819 It was just what the school did. They were allowed to sit at the back of the hall. I suppose it was to allow them to see first hand how the school ran
