I Have My Own Views

And when I say that, I am really talking about the views of my stories here....

Most of my stuff has between 2 & 30 views. Which is all fine well and good. But, a couple of things caught my attention when I was scrolling through my stuff.

Chief among the attention grabbing statistics was a handful of stories that had more hearts than views....

I'm guessing that means people hearted things without ever even reading them.

I find that weird.

Well, that's my view on my views....

I read your stuff and usually don't comment. And I don't "heart" them because I don't wanna come off as the creepy stalker chic 🤓 Lol

I don't ever view readers as stalkers. If people read my things, that's fine. If they like them, it's better. I never place too much stock in my abilities as a writer. My own thoughts on my writings are found here:
Allepo has fallen as Obama averted his gaze.
There was a lot of sympathetic talk when all of this started. Talk that faded into the never-ending void of soundbytes gone bye.

I always thought that history would judge Obama kindly in the long run. These days, I am not so sure about that.

Obama's refusal to stare down Aasad, and stand up for Allepo is absolutely shameful. It is a failure on the part of America and it's President's policies in the region. While I grant Obama the blame, I think the shame of it belongs to all of us. Especially Democrats and Liberals, who have allowed things like transgender bathrooms, and other inconsequentials to distract focus from true issues such as Allepo.

I appreciate the fact that you read them, regardless of the rest. Hopefully you have enjoyed some of the stuff you've perused at any rate.

As always, I thank anyone and everyone that has taken some time to read anything I write. Time is a person's most precious commodity. To have something as precious as a few minutes spent reading something I posted, I view as no small thing. My gratitude is never-ending to those who choose to use their time in such a way.
