I am on my way to become a published author

As of March 2, 2021 I made my first payment to getting my book published!! It will be out by Mother's Day of next year!

Why pay to get published? Souldn't it be the other way around?

@Alfarrobas well they tried that in the past and it didn't work out very well. They will pay me after I pay them to publish the book.

@DaveStevenson But that sounds strange to me... It should be like "you are good, you have one thing we want and we have the means to dilever that, let's make a deal. We publish you, and we split the profit in this way".
