I've never seen them. That you're able to witness the Borealis in NS, is incredible; since it's not a northern region, by compare to the NWT/arctic communities - you're so fortunate!

I am very fortunate to see a mini version with mostly white lights and maybe light green dancing in the sky. Usually on a cold clear night in January/February.
Yes, that is correct. I am not in a northern region but would love to experience it someday!!馃槉

Of any size or magnitude, it's an event not soon forgotten. I'm envious! Friends of mine have witnessed similar mini-versions like your own, in northern portions of MN/WI, ND, Montanna, and of course Alaska; in the clear and cold dead of winter.
Did you know they also produce an audible harmony at times?

It humbles, moving the heart to praise and adoration; our faith increased. Even in its fallen state, the beauty of this world cannot be passed over.
