I Describe My School Uniform
My school uniform is very typical in the place where I live.
During primary school years, I wore short-sleeved white shirts and blue shorts (Terylene) in summer, long-sleeved and cotton trousers in the winter. During the days with PE, cotton blue shorts / trousers with elastic waistlines were worn. Black leather shoes for non-PE and white plimsolls for PE.
During secondary school years, I wore short-sleeved white shirt and white trousers in summer, long-sleeved shirts, grey trousers, green school ties and a green blazer for winter. Grey jumpers could be worn also. Black leather shoes all days. For PE, we worn white short-sleeved T-shirt, blue cotton shorts and white plimsolls. We changed into PE uniform just before PE in secondary schools.
For boys, the uniforms were usually boring. However, there were some primary schools requiring boys to wear grey shorts with grey knee socks in winter. Some secondary schools (very few) allowed boys to wear shorts in summer.
The uniforms for girls are also boring. In secondary schools, white dresses for summer, and grey for winter. The others are the same. Some schools required knee socks, which may be grey or white (schools decided). In primary schools, boys and girls wear almost the same, while some schools requiring dresses instead of shorts and trousers.
Some schools have more variations on color, but most are very similar. So it was really boring here.
