I Am a Daddy's Girl

I didn't realise how much of one I am untill this lockdown. He's been working from home and I have been stuck here cause of school being closed, but like a week in I went to ask him something and I don't know why, but I called him daddy no just dad like I normally do.
He just laughed and said that I haven't called him that for years.
I don't know if it's my anxiety causing it but I have become a bit clingy to him 😕 I flop on the sofa in his home office and I will do my school work there or just watch what he's doing. I'm getting worried I might be annoying him I don't want to do that.

Obviously I don't know for definite but I reckon your dad probably likes having you about when he's working. I bet most people miss their kids when they're stuck in an office, possibly with colleagues they can't stand, all day. Being able to to work from home with his daughter keeping him company is probably bliss. The idea of him working away while you do your school work is a lovely image, and as someone above said if you were bothering him he'd have said something by now.
