@jessa29, Right, which is why I said the *design* looked like a Victorian fairytale (NOT an Indian one!). And Lisa Frank is only responsible for the design, so I don't understand why you cross referenced her regarding India.
The way it was *colored* (the part you did and Lisa had no connection to at all) evokes a *feeling* to me of being in India. It has that kind of extremely colorful pattern and use of feminine pastels that you see in a lot of Indian art.
