I Want To Tell You What I'M Doing Today

I love my new noise-cancelling headphones.

I work in a very noisy office, but the people are nice, and I don’t want to be the nasty old woman who’s always scowling and sighing whenever it gets loud. Working here is like having a bunch of little kids around. You wish they would STFU for just 10 minutes.

But they won’t. And they’re not doing it to be spiteful - this is just who they are.

And I love peace and quiet, and that’s just who I am. But I am in the minority.

So I got these headphones for about $200, and I *love* them. I think I’ve gotten more work done this morning than I got done all last week.

I procrastinated on getting a good set of headphones because I didn’t want to spend the money. Now I’m glad I spent the money.

I had this problem for years and 90% of it was from one loud mouth old lady.

Headphones are worth every penny! Take them home every night.

@NativeOregonian That was the unvarnished truth not a snark. Do you really think everyone on this planet are just nice considerate people and therefore any negative comment is a snark? We tried every diplomatic approach possible to correct that problem all to no avail.

Maybe you should find out what your talking about before you make poorly thought out condescending comments. It only makes you look like a jerk.
