My tenants had trouble moving furniture up the stairs so they of course sawed it off.

I raised holy hell about it so they glued it back together. 😃 The first time I walked up the stairs two spindles just fell out. I don't think that they will get back their full security deposit. 😃

don't fix it until they move out. they will just break it again.

or have the carpenter make the railing removable but safe
