I Am Conflicted
My best friend since high school seems a little sad I'm getting an apartment with another friend and not her. And I want to live with both- I always thought the friend from high school and I would get a place together
I made a full commitment to friend B when I thought the high school friend (A) was getting a place with her cousin as they talked about it periodically. She says now they were only joking.
I have to keep reminding myself that friend A had fallen off the face of the planet for three months, spontaneously quit two well-paying jobs, has very different opinions on recreational drugs and other people's lifestyles/who she would want in the apartment, and was a nightmare to work with
I've also shared the same work space with friend B. We had some rough days but such is life. She and I had already bought items we need for our place like dishes, silverware, cleaning products, etc etc..
The decision is clear.. in a perfect world we'd all get a place together but these two friends don't get along well. Then there's still an issue of my and friend B's partners and friends not meeting friend A's standards. Or needing to stay at someone else's place or barricaded in our rooms if we want to get high.
Eh. Nothing of interest to casual reader here. I'm just placing this to stay rational about who is a better fit to live with
