It will be hard... we will still see each other but yes... I’m hoping I can be strong enough to go thru with this, I need space...It would be nice if we could just be in a fwb or distance relationship

How is that fair if you also admitted you were just as bad that he was and has to be one who has to leave. If anything he should stay and you leave when you are ready to come back. Unless he is abusing you, throwing him out because he was [i]rude[/i][i] is not what I call a valid excuse to kick someone out for. Especially during a pandemic. When you also done wrong. Besides you two are already past your fifties. Confrontation should be the last thing that pulls you apart.
