Without reading all your stories, Lawrence, I can't get a feel for how this came about. (I will read them and will perhaps be in touch when PMs arrive.) However, it seems clear you will have a tutor and parent substitute in one, with his main activity overseeing you. I think this may be a tremendous opportunity for you to take advantage of the situation and allow yourself to grow and mature. Best.
