Less of a feeling more of a fact.

When I was about 5 nearly 6 years old my mother gave me up for adoption. As far as I can remember we weren’t struggling nor was she stressed or abusive toward me in any way. But she still didn’t want me. It was orginially just a foster care placement but after a year or so I was given the news I would be able to be adopted. The foster care system has not done me any favours. 10 different foster families and still counting. You hear all the same lines when they try breaking the news that im going to another family. Still hurts all the same.

What lines do they say exactly?
Amyreeves · F
@DudeistPriest stuff like “sorry we but we need to focus on the family more” or “sorry it has to be this way but I’m sure the next home will be better”.
@Amyreeves What are they expecting, perfection?
Amyreeves · F
@DudeistPriest I don’t know what people expect.
@Amyreeves Are there any extended family members you could go live with? Are you in school?
