I Donate Blood

I can’t sew up badly hurt people. I can’t cure what’s threatening someone’s life.

But I can donate blood. I’m not a needle fan…but when somebody else has already driven off the pack of dogs or people, rescued the heavily bleeding victim and gotten them to a hospital, I can brave a needle.

Me too , about needles . Hydrate , eat a protein/potassium food . Don't watch . I started when mom was diagnosed with cancer . In 2006 . 🙏

I donated regularly until the last time nurse gave me a hematoma because our mayor walked into the room and she was too distracted and not paying attention to what she was doing when she jammed the needle into me

I used to regularly when I was younger. There was a clinic you can just drop by. Then they changed it to appointments and I stopped. Its a good thing to do though

Oh I didn't know that. It's a good thing to do though..plus you get tea and biscuits! Lol
