@wonka 1. It hurts like a needle. Like a vaccination, but with vaccines the substance being injected sometimes burns. Which is absent when taking blood.
2. That depends on your country, you should call first to set up an appointment anyway.
3. They will test to see if they can take your blood, using a small amount of your blood. They check for anemia, blood type. A health history is taken verbally. They test your blood afterwards for stds and such. I'm my country anyway.

I want to, but I have some questions about it.
1. Does it hurt? I was able to have the flu shot just fine, but every other vaccine I've had to squeeze someone's hand and cried my eyes out. VERY low pain tolerance.
2. Do I need to be a certain age? I'm 15.
3. Do I need to be tested for diseases, STDs, etc.? I don't know if I have any, and I've heard those tests can be uncomfortable/painful.
