I Am Writing a Journal

I thought that perhaps doom was inevitable
and money tyrants were slit-throat
and the boat was very, very shakey.

But I found that the sunrays were free today
and there was an ice cream sandwich there in the fridge
and I may even go to Australia someday, some way, some how
so I guess that today breaks even.
