I Sympathize With The Suffering
Is it thinking about the past or the future that bring thoughts into our minds that cause anguish?
We rerun the same scenario over and over again in our minds, along with our interpretation of the action done towards us. The “what ifs” come into play. The “.... why do they act that way towards me? Why did they do that? Are they mad at me? What did I do wrong, why am I never enough?”, creep in. Thoughts. Our thoughts have a greater effect on us than we realize.
Therein goes the question, are we propelling our own suffering by the thoughts that we continue to allow in our minds 🧠?
Can controlling our thoughts be a key towards inner peace? How do we expect to bring peace in the world, if we can’t bring peace to our own selves at times?
Something to ponder about 🤔🧠🧐.
