I Im Annoyed
Last year I took a gap-year because I completely lost myself.
I decided to spend my year working to see what I had in me, couldn't really do fun stuff because I didn't have enough money or time but I'm not gonna lie I had so much fun working and it helped me figure things out.
So this year I'm going back to school and I also have a parttime job because I need the money to move to another country next year...... but here is problem.
I'm a person that has everything planned out and always did, although things don't always go according to plan, a lesson I've learned a long time ago. I always have a plan B but I'm not really sure how to handle this problem yet.
So my grandma lost her job a few years back which isn't really a problem because in the country we live in you get a pension by the government, the longer you work in this country the higher your pension will be. She didn't work here long enough so it isn't much money so sometimes she struggles.
she made the decision that she'll start looking for a job because she's bored at home and because she needs more money of course. I helped her look for jobs and I'm still helping her but every time we find a job opportunity she gets excited about it but doesn't go after it. I'm not gonna force her of course because there comes a time in your life when you don't really want to work hard or work at all anymore.
so that's why there is this place where elders can go to ask for a little extra money if they don't have a job. Most elders have two pensions one that you get by the government and one that you get from the last job you worked at.
My grandma can start to ask for the pension she gets from her job but it looks like she's letting that slip away too.
It annoys me a little bit because I have to hear her complain about not having money all the time. I try to help her sometimes but i can't always do that because I still go to school, I just have a parttime job, I need to save money for next year and I can't ask my mom to help me because the last time I asked my mom for help she told me to get a job and that was when I was 15.
