NOT! I actually like most pumpkin things, BUT... The pumpkin spice explosion has already started. I鈥檝e spotted pumpkin spice coffee, assorted baked goods, soooooo many strong scented candles and room sprays, etc. I am weary of it already. If there is one thing the commercial world is good at - it鈥檚 overkill.
When I was a kid - (Yes, children, there WAS refrigeration) - we mostly ate things in season. Strawberries were brief - but they were the real article.
Maybe it was partly the novelty but if you鈥檝e never picked corn on the cob yourself and husked it and eaten it right away - you don鈥檛 really know what corn on the cob tastes like.
