I Love Mountain Biking
I just noticed this group and thought I'd join.
I've been mountain biking for 27 years. It is easily my favorite sport. I started when I was in the Army serving in Germany back in the late 80s. I have since ridden in several countries and around the USA as well. When I got back from the first Gulf war, my family pitched in and got me a GT All Terra Karakoram Elite. This was back around 1991. I still ride the same bike. I know there are better, lighter, faster bikes out there that also have front and rear shocks but I can't bring myself to let this one go so I've kept it. Besides some of the add-ons I've equipped, it is in great condition.
I tip my helmet to anyone who also enjoys the sport. Be smart and wear gear. Protect yourself and the sport by doing so.
