I Hate Fast Food

I'm a stickler for home cooked meals. I don't trust fast food, what if they don't wash their hand after using the toilet, or pick their nose and snots fall in to the food. These are the scenarios that play in my head when I decide if to buy fast food or cook at home. I always end up going home to steam vegetables and add lots of spices to give it some flavour. This is my daily routine after work Monday to Friday.

If only I could turn my brain off, I could enjoy a delicious burger.

good way to think about it.
@iamnikki
At least vegetables are easy to cook.

@Random1Thoughts yep, my new fave is baked sweet potatoes. Quick and tasty

I love sweet potato too. I usually buy any vegetable in season, they tend to be cheaper. Either steam them with salt and chilli or make a paste and add them to it.

@Random1Thoughts me too now that I see why they are called "sweet" potatoe. We didn't usually bake them growing up, always boiled, then add sugar. yes, I know boiling things takes out flavors. Glad I bake them now.
@iamnikki
I think it's a healthier tastier option.
