Is this a good show? I've never seen it but I don't know much about it either.

I personally like it very much. It is a sarcastic sci fi dark comedy. The two main characters are based on doc and Marty from back to the future. They also borrow from HP Lovecraft, Justin Cronenberg and Stephen king. I would recomend giving the pilot a try as they are only 20 minutes episodes. I can point out a couple sites to watch them if you are interested.
