When you find yourself just seeking the comfort of social circumstances at a pub, so you go out for a pint of beer with a book in hand minding yourself looking for the casual conversation of the bartender without any other intention of a social life.
So as I was reading my book, some stranger walks up to me. He was of very good manners and etiquette. He simply wanted to know what I was reading. I like those who ask. He then, gets a very surprised face. So you are reading Murakami? I say yes, you know him? He said yes, if you like this author you must check out the real Murakami. I asked a question I don't remember anymore, but it would be something like, who? He comes back with, of course whom I'm speaking of is Japanese too, and some title as much as I want to remember can't.
As he was walking away, he then came back and said, sorry I didn't mean to intrude your solitude, it's just if I see someone reading in a pub/bar/cafe I always have to find out.
