I Feel A Bit Bummed Out

school just started and I'm already stressed. My mind is not ready to be back in school after a 4 week break. I have an internship to do, but am not sure of placement. An unexpected math class in my final semester. (unexpected because I decided to double major at the last minute, which was only 2 more classes on top of all the work I'd already done for that major, before changing it). And I am bad with math. I'm ready to work and live my life without reading textbooks, without weekly quizzes and writing papers. Without sitting through lectures. I'm ready to move from my childhood home. I've been ready to close this chapter of my life for a long time and its frustrating and bumming me out. I feel like I"m dragging my feet through life馃槶

You're doing great!! Are you doing what you want to do? That's what really matters.

@lovelywarpedlemon thank you. I've chosen what I feel is the best major for me. I'm just ready to be done with school. People keep telling me " oh but you're young, you should go for your masters". I've been in school forever!
@iamnikki Four years is enough to get a well-paying job. If you find something you like, you don't ever have to go back to school. Otherwise, some jobs will pay for your schooling while you're working there. There's a world of opportunity out there... You'll find your own way. I wish you well.

@lovelywarpedlemon I've been in school longer than 4 years and am barely about to get my Bachelors. Thank you
@iamnikki I took five years of community college (often going part-time) before I finally graduated with an AA. I dropped out of university, but I might be going back. Maybe. I graduated high school in 2011 and I've been struggling for as long as I can remember to figure something out. I'm still lost. So. Sounds like you're ahead of the game. Lots of people go their whole lives without knowing what they want.

@lovelywarpedlemon same. Started CC in fall 2010. Took 2012 off. Started back in 2013 and finished 2016. Went part time most of the way
@iamnikki Well congrats for making it this far. It's hard, especially when you're not sure which direction you want to go in.

@lovelywarpedlemon thank you. I feel like the hard part is over. stuggling thru algebra, retaking it, all the way thru statistics...ugh. now I'm just dragging
@iamnikki Something will work out, one way or another. :)
