Its been an amazing week We got our house ,, My Daughter and I are buying a home together ,,her 1st ,my 3rd My Grandson graduated last night and his girlfriend and another young lady we pushed to get back in school after dropping out ,,she made it after all ,, And my ex and I attended the ceremony together We have not talked for the last 7 yrs ,,we ended that Thursday when she came and spent the afternoon with me and we put 7 yrs of pain behind us ,, It felt so good having her sitting with me and things kind of back to normal .. Everyone went on about how we both kind of glowed ,,we still love each other ,, So lots of good things this week ,,my Grandson graduating was the highlight His Dad was killed when he was 5 ,so I have been like his Dad ,he will always be my baby ,all 6'4" ,,250 lbs of him He was diagnosed with ADHD in the 1st grade ,he has came so far He has been working at the air port as an aviation mechanic after school this whole year ,,so a full day of school and then a full shift at night , Now he will be taking further training in Texas soon for Avionics then he will be promoted to shift leader (lots more pay ) So for 19 ,,He makes me so proud I could bust ,,
Oldest Granddaughter got married last weekend ,,
My family is my world ,my Grandkids being successful makes me happier then buying another house ,,its just a house It my family that will turn it into a home
2 more to go ,,youngest Granddaughter graduates next year , a little more then 6 yrs it will be my son ,,he is still only 11
But my ex and I talking and spending time together is icing on the cake I am glad I am able to put pain behind me eventually and move on I am happy to have back my best friend again , Its been a long 7 yrs without her
@bijouxbroussard Its just been such an awesome week everyone going on about how happy they were to see my ex and I speaking and out together again (It hurt so bad to see her I was the one avoiding her and refusing to speak to her all this time ,,I just wanted her to be happy ,even if it was killing me ) Not attending family functions so she could still be apart of my family (everyone still loves her )but I just couldn't deal with it ,,it put me back in depression seeing her . But I finally agreed to see her ,and Thursday we spent the afternoon together ,,cried until my eyes hurt ,its all good now Even if we are never a couple again ,she is still my best friend . So I see lots of happy cook outs in the future (maybe even a date ) and my back up singer back (she was my back up vocalist too ,so I lost a lot losing her ) The place we're buying has a small house on the property too where my Grandson plans to live ,and another building I will be turning into a recording studio .. Its like I have had 7 yrs in the valley , now its time to start over I am excited to see what the future holds
