@CharlieZ ok, i speak neither spanish nor portuguese but for some reason this "felt" more like portuguese... guess my linguistic "feeling" betrayed me

This is perhaps of my personal style, when writing poetry.
I use rythms, figures of language and choice of words that may sound a bit like ancient Spanish, wich is a bit nearer to Portugese than those languages are actually.

Because I´ve drunk salt waters
that felt from the eyes and the years,
I´m saving my thirst of sweet freshwaters
to have it from the source of yours.

I hope someday I´ll row no more
on downstream waters.

And get there, to the vineyards
in time just for the toast of celebration
and not later.

Or may I, at least,
cry wine instead.
