I Encountered Strange Phenomena

I was round mothers house this morning....she has these two taps on the kitchen sink ....i too have these two taps...but only one of mine works....
in moms kitchen, the second of these "taps" gives out **hot water** ...wow ...would love to get me some of that funky magic ...
