I Leave The Door Open When I Take A Bath

I do at home because there is only a tiny window in the bathroom and mould forms if the steam cannot circulate. My mum asks if I want more privacy, but I am used to my sister coming in and out of the bathroom and I like chatting to my mum when I am in the bath 🙂

At school, there is no choice. The bath tubs are right in the centre of the bathroom and the doors are continuously opening and shutting as girls come in to use the other facilities. It is quite mad. Baths at school are anything but relaxing, but sometimes you just have to take the plunge 🐻

@SakuraShimeji That is what I feel about a bath. It is for relaxing. There is a Korean girl in my house who takes a shower first, then has a bath. She often gets accused of using too much hot water 😕

you have bath tubs in your school? Is that really a thing? We had showers, never bath tubs. Who has time to take a bath? Who would want to after someone else was just sitting bare assed in that tub? How can it possibly be sanitary. so many questions right now.

@TammieBear to each his/her own I suppose. I think I would do my bathing at home though. That's just me.

@basilfawlty89 We have showers...that the water runs down over you and down the drain.....not a cesspool of dirty bath water that sits and cools around your filthy body, and even if you drain the tub, if you don't scrub it down good, can leave much residue. Especially a bunch of sweaty students, in and out of the tub all day.....their sweaty bods pressed up against the porcelain? I hear what you're sayin', but I'm not pickin' up what you're layin' down....sounds like a scummy bar of soap to me....but that's just me.

I would hate that. I just know there would be chilly air coming in all the time and I'm skinny, so I'd always be cold. lol
