@Reject but sometimes in our own minds we say ' it was my fault' when....we know it wasnt. Sometimes...we do that with tge intention of easing somebody elses guilt. But. ..like you say...what they feel is their choice so it doesnt really help them

@RubySoo I see what you mean. We can absolutely try to influence how someone feels about something. Still, that can only do so much. Nowadays I just focus on the reality that we cannot ever make someone feel anything. The more we try, the worse we make the relationship.
