I could say that I do this much less than other people... if it weren't for how I react to my family. They've managed to get so much leverage over me that I drop all my values to accommodate them.
@Trippy Lately I've been sorta having an attitude that I don't care about their shit anymore and I'm hoping it's more than a phase. Breaking free from them is what I need most in life right now.

@Trippy Well that's a good question that I don't know how to answer. But if it provides any indirect answer, I can tell you I was abused as a child and still not treated great as an adult.
@SinlessOnslaught Well... Kinda. We all gotta define abuse in our own way maybe. Adopted when my folks were a bit older. Lost my father young and my mom younger. Time perhaps my biggest assailant. Still... Had to struggle out from under its quilt.
