I Hate When People Try To Force Their Religious Views
If you have religious beliefs, good for you.
If you don't, good for you.
If you believe in a God, or gods, good for you
If you don't, good for you
If you choose to worship in a structure or participate in a formal service, good for you.
If you prefer another path, good for you.
If you think worshiping a deity or supreme being is ridiculous, good for you
1. I do have religious beliefs, I won't talk to you about them, and I really don't care what yours are
2. It is my firm belief that religion is a very personal thing and should not have a voice in a public forum.
3. I don't push my views on you, you should never push your views on me or anyone else for that matter. If we want to know we will come to you.
Today I had 2 guys come up to me and tell me that they wanted to discuss beliefs with me, which is not appreciated. When I tell them I have my own views and I am not interested in hearing theirs or discussing mine and they keep pushing, that really not appreciated. Posting in a neighborhood forum about those beliefs for all to see, telling me I need to read about their views and understand them, that is about enough to push me over the edge.
I can tell you right now, I only know what beliefs 3 of my friends follow and it has absolutely no impact on how we interact or how I see them. We never discuss our views. We don't avoid the topic, there is just no reason to bring it up. So I see no need to be approached or have the topic pushed on me in a public forum
