I Survived Heartbreak
Oh I wanted to be petty today but I wasn't. One of my staff members and I had a meeting at a different office building today, still within our organization. My ex who ghosted me last year works in this other building on the 2nd floor.
I've lost a considerable amount of weight, changed my hair and look a lot different than the last time he saw me. I saw his car in the parking lot, absolutely trashed as always 馃槙.....so I knew he was there.
I really wanted to go upstairs and say hello just to be petty, but I didn't. My staff person tried to get me to go, but honestly I have zero interest in seeing him or speaking to him. So I walked away. Glad I did. No need to reopen a wound.
