I Love Steampunk

I was asked to show some more of the things I make, so here it is! This is a bronze, Anglo-Saxon appliqué, (applied to a garment for weight and decoration) circa 300AD, its mounted on a leather cord which has been threaded with interspersing cobalt blue and iridescent glass beads (circa 1900), hope you like? :)

Aww and your very sweet, thanks again honey. I always doubt myself, as most of us do I think. But when they were a success, it gave me the confidence to make more things. Now I can't stop! The only problem is that my partner loves the things so much, I'm not allowed to sell some of the things! He he he, check out my other things on profile, and I'll post a few more. I'm making my biggest project at the moment. I'm converting an early 19th century, pine, Dutch chest of drawers, into a sewing table for my partner, its taking forever! x
