Why did the Australian Cricket Team embarrass their country, Cricket Australia, their families and themselves? Why? Was it worth it?!!

I would guess the same reason our guys had to sneak out of town after the Summer Olympics. We grant them too much celebrity and they get to thinking they're above the rules for mortals.
