I Swam In A River

I love to swim. The river near me is not so clean, so I travel a bit to swim in a river. Stepping into the cool water, a severe contrast to my sum warmed skin. Minnows ticking my toes as they investigate this alien to their world. Walking out onto the sand bar and feeling the rush of water passing me by. Nothing quite like it.

@Fernie so true. We used to make a river rocker when we went tubing. It had a car stereo and a couple of batteries. It was on a make shift raft. Those were the days. Now I kayak more than anything.

Lol we were teens and not real enlightened. Pretty sure it was not safe with car batteries as well. Lol
