I Have a Brother

I have two, in fact. One older and one younger. As such I wound up as a textbook middle child. Incredibly shy and introverted, I felt ötən growing up that I lived in the center of two shadows.

As I grew toward adulthood I emerged from the largely self imposed she'll and began to overcome the awkwardness and found my own footing.

I am fortunate to have a great relationship with both as we have gone on with our lives and found our own unique place in the world. So many adults with siblings are not in such a good place, scisms that began in childhood becoming greater to the point of no return.
