I Have a Goal
It is possible that the very person you laugh and talk with, could be mocking and sighing at how _____________ you are.
It is possible that your attempt is to show kindness and generosity and the people you do this for snicker behind your back thinking you are easy to manipulate, _____________, and ______________.
You have to fight.
Interesting huh? Life changing. That you have to fight, that if you don’t inspire fear through boundaries you are not even regarded as relevant.
What if you become the person others negatively label, just like them, so you are labeled as they are? Would a person stop to think, wait, before they immediately minimize you to a predetermined definition of who you are? Based on a mere action or appearance, or would they still look at the human qualities of who you are and STILL uphold you with respect?
I don’t know how I will do it. But I will destroy negative labels to describe people. I’m limited, I can’t do that right? I mean I too negatively label others. But that attempt is what I will live and fight for. Yes I flee from a person who becomes dangerous, yes I resent those who cause pain, yes punishment and law IS necessary for our survival as a species.
I have found my purpose in life: the destruction of negative labels. How? Through getting people to realize that by treating humans as we do, based on their function, is our demise. That will never change though, as long as we have to survive we will treat and be treated based on how pleasing, productive, and harmless we are to those around us. It is 100% conditional, it always will be. That or we give of ourselves to eventually mold a person into being pleasing, productive, and harmless, that’s great we need that. Feels shallow right? I know, don’t think about it.
But you know what makes this shallowness worse? The negative labels we use on each other. My goal in life is to minimize in myself the use of negative labels towards others, and to inspire others to do the same. Sure run away, work hard to be what you want, but at least can the words change? The words.
THAT is what I will live and fight for.
