yesterday a class from the elementary school knocked on my door (at work) and they kept on walking, and i found a cup they decorated and put flowers in outside the door, with a “happy may day” banner

No, but my kids did it at least once on a Friday night. The man who answered the door saw them running away and started chasing and swearing at them. Don’t think they did it again.

A little basket of candy, for a girl who lived on my block.
As I ran I heard a loud booming man's voice. "hey..hey...GET BACK HERE!"
It was her dad.
I went back.
Turned out, her family didn't know about May Day.
🤣
Her dad (the one who yelled) thought I was crazy.
