I Don't Know What I Want to Do With My Life

Writing here in hopes the group will become more active. I struggle with this daily, thoughts that my life is going nowhere. Im 19 and I can't drive, and Im not in college. I have a minimum wage job and no plans for the future. I don't want to get into too much detail or Ill just rant for days, but.. I feel like Im going to go through life unhappy because I couldn't figure things out early enough. I know Im still young, but years pass quickly.. Time slips through your hands with ease.

Are there classes or clubs where you live, where you could do what interests you with others who share the same interests? That way you can be connected to something larger than yourself.

@Annie1899: Yeah. People are just hard for me to deal with.. Even when the anxiety isn't there I don't know how to handle relationships i form with anyone. Im a mess in that sense.

Time does slip away, but at 19 you've got quite a bit of time to change course. What are the things you love doing? what do you feel you're good at, interested in?

Im not really good at anything. I draw on occasion. I used to paint, I used to draw a lot and I wanted to help people. I like baking and cooking but I haven't done it in a while/dont feel like doing it lately. Im not very smart so I need something more crafty or hands on I guess. I like planting things. I like animals.

@aspiringmagicalgirl: Maybe try out as an apprentice baker, or working at a restaurant kitchen? pay is nothing much, but there's avenue for advancing yourself and doing worthwile stuff in the future.
Or marry a farmer, I suppose :/
